L type Mafac cantilevrer brakes * fall in a type 1 lever in classical mechanics Work (The Brake Pad) fulcrum (pivot) effort, where the cable is attached , pulling it .
crowbars and teeter totters are also that type lever..


put the fulcrum at the end and the work in the middle , and effort applied, again, on the in the end is a Type 2 Lever..

the way you hold a wheelbarrow , is essentially a type 2 leverage..
