The title of this thread is "Why we bought out bikes". "We"--the implication was that other people who bought and ride recumbents would post their stories because otherwise I would have posted "Why
I bought my bike". So I consider that I did ask for input. I posted it here in the Recumbent sub-forum so that non-recumbent riders would not get bent (funny, that) out of shape because why would they choose or be interested in reading this forum.
I also did give a lengthy reply to your original response to this thread.
