Hey, I remember this light! By Kickstarter standards, they're not super late, I think they just overpromised. Promising a delivery date just a month after the end of the funding period is pretty much impossible. The last one I backed was the Knog Oi (yeah, it sits in a drawer now) and they were about 2 months off of the initial delivery date, despite being a massive, already-established company that raised a million dollars in a month.
I've also had one fail to meet it's funding goal, and one completely self-destruct during development-- I'm out a whole $26. This is how crowdfunding works-- risk for reward. Thankfully, it's not like we bought tickets to Fyre Festival.
Go on Amazon and buy a Cygolite for $20 in the meantime.
