Is it a vague uneasy feeling that whatever you fix yourself won't be as safe as something someone else sells you will be? Is a helmet shell you glue any less safe than a shell someone else glues, considering the shell someone else glued came apart in the first place Is a tube you patch any less servicable than a tube you buy?

Maybe I do think too much but it's more interesting than the 1000th what bike/tire/seat to buy thread.This is a discussion forum where we talk about ideas isn't it.
