I'm impressed! She heard a noise from the stoker's position, and it was the front hub?! I've never heard a hub make noise, much less from that distance!

So what does a bad cone sound like? Rumbling? Grinding?
Plus... I'd love to see a photo of the damaged cone. How bad was it?
