The way I see it is, the parks need the money and they have all sorts of expenses because magic isn't keeping park employees employed, grounds maintained, etc. I'm just an old, disabled vet and I'm a far, far cry from being wealthy.. but If I wanted to ride a National Park, which at some point there are a few I'd like to do.. I'll save up/pay the money to do it. I don't need to ride these on a regular basis.. to me, riding one is more of a special occasion and I don't mind paying my fair share to keep these parks open. It's not about the bicycles impact to the park, it's about keeping these places pristine and beautiful for everyone.. ourselves included. Times are changing and everything is getting more expensive.. including us.. things cost more, people make more money. It's the cycle of life.
