My experience is that, if you own a Lezyne mini-pump with a screw-on hose (which tends to unscrew valve cores at inopportune times), you'll find that tubes with removable cores are all too common.

You're preaching to the choir, but this thread is about ghetto tubeless which is why I said I'd rather opt for tubes with sealant.

I put some OS in to the tubes on a bike that I lent to my cousin for a few rides. I've ridden it a few times since, but I haven't had a flat or a confirmed puncture, so it's impossible to say.
