My polished TB14’s weighed an actual 505gm on a digital scale, so slightly heavier then spec’d, and I would never describe these wheels as “heavy”, just not quite as light as the narrower Open Pros that preceded them. They are lovely rims that I frequently recommend, and have remained true for over 6000 miles so far. Because of their double eyelets and perceived strength, I’ve moved them over to the bike that will be the travel bike with front bag and panniers.
