Tires and saddle are going on this Nishiki pictured (paid $10 for no other reason but I wanted a cool Japanese bike to make a single speed freewheel bike out of)

If I like the frame I will probably put 26ers on it (I am short, it's a tall frame plus I have a few of these lying around, one has a deore hub) with a 1x crankset with 165mm cranks and maybe a 36/38T ring for like a 1x8 drivetrain - will be my hill-climbing bike because once the Fuji sells it will be the only thing I own w/ a derailleur! If I don't like it, I will likely use the parts and sell the frame for hopefully what I have in to it.

Do you see that I have an illness?
