Haven't ridden Sugarloaf. I still believe Weakley Hollow Road in VA is worse...1.1 miles straight up. It's almost not rideable! But I've been up a bunch of times and can survive it. Well, according to OldTryGuy's post, it looks as if you're going to go up the front side of Sugarloaf (shown in the photo). If you've done steeper than 13% grade, my hat's off to you.
