I too have been enjoying my dark, pre-dawn commute. That'll change (for a few weeks) after this weekend though with the daylight savings time change.

Not only can I be seen (lit up and reflective) but I can see motorists who have their headlights on.
Couple that with fewer encounters and the pre-dawn ride is preferable.
Agreed. Another benefit I've noticed is I can see oncoming car headlights before they come around a blind curve.
