In January I posted a thread in A&S (
link here) about the multi-use paths they're constructing here in my home town. Well, I'm delighted to discover they're putting one on my main commuting route! The street in question has zero shoulder, and is busy all the time and with the "layout of the land" so to speak is the only reasonable route. The city announced the path recently, and posted the following image to their website. Actual construction started about two weeks ago. It will sure be nice to be able to go up and down a MUP on that part of the commute! ELP is indeed moving into the 21st century.
Finally.
