Do I trust old tubulars? Not a chance, since I blew this on a PX10 I was building years ago. Lucky I was going slow, at the time. Had I been descending, I might not be here to tell the tale...



That said, and in all honesty, I figured the tires were shot but, stupidly, took a chance and that, my friends, is the issue. There are old tires that might look OK and they might even be OK, but if they fail, the results might be pretty bad.
