Clipless seems to make the most sense if you know you are going to be doing a long ride of say 2hrs +.


As for cranks, they are one of my favourite parts for how a bike looks, so in addition to being prepared to pay more for a lighter, stiffer crank, it has to look the part, or I am not interested.
check this out 2X Tiagra Crank 50/34 and match that with a 10 speed 11-36 or 11-42 10 speed cassette with Deore Shadow derailer..
