Hey I was having the issue of the pump not getting really any air out. Pulled it apart and it was the o-ring. I used just a little bit of dental floss on the inside of where the o-ring goes to expand it just a bit. Worked great, careful not to expand it too much or the o-ring will get damaged on the threads going in.
