I have also found this prior Bike Forums post, again about an Erba track bike:

"Nicest track frame I've ever ridden. Made by a Mr Ogino in Kyoto, Deathhare is correct in that he no longer makes frames except to do repair work for professional riders still racing his frames, and rather does steel sculpture instead. He also did all the graphic design work for the frames. Not a lot of these frames around, they make 3Renshos look common."

Now totally confused, as my road bike frame has the signature decal of "H. Hagiwara" so who made these bikes? And does anyone know how I could get in contact with Mr. Ogino and/or Mr. H. Hagiwara?

It's like everything I've found out to date makes me MORE want to restore this bike and ride it.
