I'm on flats. Specifically Straitlines DeFactos. Why?
I can use regular shoes, like now in the winter when I'm on gore tex leather boots.

ultra fast servicing, takes 1 minute per pedal.
no ball bearings
no cup and cone bearings
no cartridge bearings
just bushings and grease.
