I got the bike today, it was nicely boxed and came in perfect condition. I have a few answers to my questions:
1. Definitely MSO tires and labeled as such. Also, tubeless ready. These are EXCELLENT tires and cost a fortune if you want to buy them retail. This is a very nice stock spec.
3. 110 BCD crank (unsurpirsingly). I'll stick with the 40 for now, it's an unbranded but nice looking narrow-wide.
4. The dropper is actually surprisingly fast and slick on this. It's actually superior to the inexpensive but brand name KS Eten I have on my MTB.

Other observations:
1. This bike looks slick in person. I was honestly a bit doubtful, but it looks great. The paint job is very detailed and perfectly executed.
2. I'd say 26-27 lbs is about right for my 56. Weight weenies need not apply.
3. The cable routing on this bike is wacky. Some things are internal, others are bare cable. It's kind of a mess.
4. I'm 5'10" exactly and ride a 29.3" saddle height, measured from the center of the BB. With the giant tires, long chainstays and long top tube, this is a large bike. The 56 gives me about an inch or two of standover at the BB while wearing cycling shoes. The short stem and compact bars give me a fairly upright position, perfect for all day riding.
5. The downtube is surprisingly large diameter for steel. I'll bet this is a stiff bike.
6. The hubs are made by Novatec, that's not listed in the spec sheet. Note that this bike has standard mountain bike hub spacing. It's a 29er wheelset.
7. Small details: the silver headtube emblem is large and very retro looking. The seat tube eagle logo is a direct copy of the logo on the Fall Guy's truck hood. There's no 631 sticker on my bike (grumble). There's no drain hole in the BB shell (grumble).
8. The box loudly proclaims that this is a "4 steps to ride ready bike". BS. The brakes rubbed (not surprisingly) out of the box, the dropper needed to be attached to the cable, which was slightly fiddly. I removed all the reflectors and dork disc. I retorqued every bolt to spec with a torque wrench and many were loose.
9. Wheels were true with high spoke tension out of the box. This is surprising these days.

Ride impressions shortly, need to get the brakes to stop rubbing.
