I like the concept of a single garment but I'm not real happy with the one pair of bib tights I own. Maybe because the chamois has a sort of permanent fold that looks like a giant ********. I really like bib knickers with long socks. If it's too cold for those, then bib shorts with regular waist tights of various weights. I can't see wearing two pairs of bibs.
