Eating is a personal thing and everybody is slightly different...For me I prefer to eat a high protein-high fat breakfast with a little bit of complex carbs. I don't start eating a lot of carbs until later in the day... When I wake up in the morning my glycogen fuel tank is overflowing and I just don't feel like stuffing myself with any type of carbs or sugar...My advice to you is to experiment with eating different types of foods and find out what works best for you.
Sounds like my breakfast this morning: bacon and a piece of pumpkin pie.
