noglider's directions of several layers of alum foil and rubber bands then put in plastic bag and strapped to my front rack. It worked great except my first wrap of the bungee was too tight and squished it sideways a bit. This forum has such great and important advice!!

Back to the Monday and full work week. 28F when I left this morning at 6am. One downhill was a bit cold, but going back up warmed me up again. Not bad really and supposed to hit 60+ today. Traffic was back in full effect too, so I bailed on a highway route in favor of a MUP.
