I have to say that paint job is simultaneously awful and awesome. I generally prefer my bikes to be more closely modeled to works like Reinhardt's "Abstract Painting No. 4" but this one definitely works in a way that refuses to be ignored. I hope the fork can be saved. A functional replacement could surely be found, but an aesthetic match seems unlikely.

I would like to see what gugie could do with this. He saved a fairly twisted fork from an old Schwinn Voyager for me, to say nothing of the magic he worked on RiddleOfSteel's Paramount, and he's constantly coming up with new tricks. I suspect a lot will depend on where it's bent.
