It was my club's annual fancy dress ride this morning. Over 100 riders out at 7am (well before as most of cycle to the meeting place), in all manner of costume in the cold and the wet (and snow at one point). Everything from christmas themed, to bananas, inflatable sumo wrestlers, even a bunch of grapes on all manner of bikes from road bikes to bromptoms, full suss mountain bikes, dutch etc. Most covered in Christmas lights as well. A lovely ride this morning, and the mulled wine and cake mid-ride was much needed.
