I asked several times with no response about the same rack. It is a nice one. Tern does make a similar one. I have put another front rack on but having the lower hook mechanism and attachment down the fork is a nice approach.

The rack here pictured attaches easily to the v-Brake and fender mount points. It does give a good platform to carry lots of stuff which I tent to have go up the handlebar post and attach there. They are easy to find and not expensive.
Also available in Silver in the US.

You could combine some "lowrider" attachments with this style of rack and be able to emulate the Dahon Traveller and carry some small front panniers. I'm really not sure, however, that that is worth the effort. You can put a whole lot above the rack and tire. That said, I should try that as I have some Panniers which should work up front -- just critical to brace them off the tire. Not sure that the Traveller front rack has enough sway bracing. Another rack might be better, especially if something new is going to have to be made anyway.
