Just wanted to chime in and say the same bike was stolen from me a year and a half ago and my eyes still widen every time I think I see it even though logically it’s probably not even in my same town any more. I STILL have dreams about that thing, so for those commenters who claim you can find just a good modern version of that bike obviously never owned the ‘94. Whenever I bring up my stolen bike in conversation guys tend to say the same thing, it’s sort of dismissive and annoying. It’s as if they’ve never owned a bike that seems so irreplaceable. Anyway I am just here to let you know I feel your pain and glad you shared this, but I am curious did you continue to search for this bike? Any luck, or did you give up? I still look it up on Craigslist or eBay everyonce in a while but would be good to know if I have any competition out there as I’m hunting for that hunk of (light) steel :/)
