torque for brake caliper recessed nuts
I checked the park tools site, and I found 90 in-lbs is the torque for campagnolo brake caliper recessed nuts. That translates to about 10 n-m. I don't think I was too concerned about this when I assembled my CAAD8, but I'm migrating the components from the CAAD8 to an Eddy Merckx carbon frame - and this is my first build with a carbon frame.
I have a proper torque wrench, so I can tighten fasteners correctly.
10 n-m seems very high to me for a carbon fork and brake bridge. Maybe it's just my lack of experience with carbon frames and it's actually just fine.
Help put my mind at ease before I torque these down?
