Many IMHO don't give Raleigh the credit they are due. They provided a staggering amount of bikes for all levels of riding all while doing it with a very high level of class and value that was as with many, their eventual undoing.
I know they struggled at times with some of the quality but it was not the norm and I have seen very few that were actually unacceptable
