Bikingshearer has written about the fit, ride and handling of the bike. I think it has progressed beyond, keep or not, and now is what to do with it now. I see it as the tug of "keep it original" is there but not bought into fully.
On this particular bike, how it has evolved plays a factor, it is not a 100% original machine. That was lost prior to purchase. It is not like there are no other original spec and finish examples around. He even owns one but not a perfect fit.
