After the changes you have already made- ride the bike before changing more.
On a $1000+ bike, the components will all be quality enough to not need changing and any changes will be due to preference(saddle, grips, pedals, etc). Preference only comes from use.
Enjoy the new bike and thats an awesome kids bike!...really quality.
