I don't see the big deal. Ignoring the ridiculous Encore wheel upgrade it's just the Classic or "Road" frameset with riser bars, black components, platform pedals/straps, and thickslicks.

I kind of like it, seems like a nice get around bike comparable to the All-City Big Block. Would be nice if they offered an alternative tire selection but they do specify you can request customizations, so maybe they will swap them for the 28mm Panaracer Pasela tires.
