I've used synthetic motor oil(0w-30) in my case because its what I had laying around on the cross bike which gets power washing weekly during the race season since I'm constantly having to lube and diluted 1:4 works guite well at flushing out the chain and dries leaving sufficient oil inside, very similar to the prolink
