You definitely made the right choice. I really doubt the technology in the frames changed too much. I have a 2014 Allez DSW and it feels the same as most recent iterations of the Allez before the seat stay/aero tubing change version.

Sometimes I wonder if the new designs are actually an improvement or just a change to make some sales. That era Allez is great.
