Heck I still remember the Subarus all over a certain branch of my family with the paint peeling off the bumpers in sheets.
My '94 camry had everything. 3 engines, mounts, suspension, ignition, brakes, head liner, AC, god damn, way more than I can even remember. It was like the monty burns of cars, where all the problems jam into a door frame trying to get through.
**** the door handle broke off one day, and it was a $600 part, so I just put a screw in the little stub that was left. You had to pull the screw sticking out of the door to get in. That was fun dropping it off for the constant service watching the techs try to get in.
Lemon toyotas exist, and I had one.
My family is crazy into toyota and lexus, and they all have issues, not as bad as that camry, though.
