**** the door handle broke off one day, and it was a $600 part, so I just put a screw in the little stub that was left. You had to pull the screw sticking out of the door to get in. That was fun dropping it off for the constant service watching the techs try to get in.
Lemon toyotas exist, and I had one.
My family is crazy into toyota and lexus, and they all have issues, not as bad as that camry, though.
Our last new car, before the Fit, was a 91 Corolla. We didn't change the plugs, or timing belt until 145k. Changed the oil, tires, and nothing else. Most trouble free car I've ever been associated with. And 42 mpg.
