I live in the Bay Area. Perfect for car free or car lite lifestyle. More biking infrastructure (segregated biking lanes) being built every day. My millennial son has never owned a car, he uses public transit and his bike to get everywhere from his apartment. We also have amazing weather which make bike use possible almost every day of the year. And I also live in a 98 walk score neighborhood =). Bike to work day is huge here - so many cyclists! And now that e-bikes are becoming more popular I am seeing more older folks out riding than ever before. I've considered moving elsewhere but I love being able to bike around the Bay with the amazing views, I think it's one of the most perfect vistas.
