Thick fog on the water is eerie and scary (if you have no reference point).
I was wondering what all those circles were about (it's too cold for water skiing, right?). Fog is indeed scary on the water, as I imagine fog/clouds are in the air. I'm always amazed when I think about those WW2 navy pilots that found their way back to aircraft carriers in the middle of the Pacific after hundreds of miles and hours of flight.
As for commuting, pretty normal here and I'm actually enjoying the cool temps. No sweat when I get to work!
