But I'm very surprised you can find an LBS that has a FR die for rethreading/extending threads AND isn't afraid to use it! If true you have a Golden Treasure in that LBS and good on ya, mate, so keep them happy and in business.
My personal experience is "no, don't have one and wouldn't use it if we did".
That's a good point. They are vintage oriented and well equipped (Stronglight puller, cotter press) but I will still go over it again with them to make sure they know what they're getting into.
