I am not a speed guy, I am a distance guy. Was looking for advice on how to rebuild this bad boy.

The previous owner thought he needed to make it a beach cruiser to sell it. It now has an ugly stem with cruiser bars. So I need to fix it. My options; 1) take it back to original, with the bull moose bars. (I have) 2) put a nitto riser stem, some drop bars and suntour bar end shifters. 3) Moustache bars. I have bars for road levers and suntour bar ends or mtn bars for the orginal levers and the original suntour thumb shifters.

Anyway, like most here, I have a bike addiction. This stumpy was calling on me to fix. I bought for 140$(condition is amazing, except the ugly replaced stem.)

I have all the stuff for any set up really. I will eventually sell it and I am curious which will give the bike the most value?
I have a nice 84 that I was thinking of doing the same thing to. It's a blast to ride. Weighs a ton though.
