Does anyone know what year Peugeot made a Orient Express in a chrome finish with the only lug being at the top of the seat post; everything else is tig welded. The tubes are CR MO Tange 5 Big tubing. I took the bike on trade and wasn’t to excited to be picking up another bike; especially one I hadn’t really considered building. But after getting the frame cleaned up and putting a set of wheels on it, I was quite impressed with what I got. First, I didn’t know that I was going to be able to fit 700c wheels. Second, I’m in love with the long wheel base and front fork. Third, there so many eyelets for rack mounts it’s crazy. There are two by each wheel mount and one half way up the front fork. It’s surprising that it only has one water bottle cage mount.
