I can't recall where I read it but one of the pro team mechanics uses a Snap On 1/4" swivel-head ratchet. I bought one on impulse and I must say, it's probably one of the coolest tools I have and I use it often. The articulating head makes for quick tightening and loosening from about any position. Not cheap but it's Snap On:
