I took the cranks off yesterday after buying a CCP-44 from the bike shop. I guess I "mislaid" the tool I used in 2007. The BB came out in 3 pieces with bearings falling on the floor. No wonder I was hearing a click-click.
Ordered a BB-7700 from Competitive Cyclist last night, so happy birthday to me.
