Interesting how the disc brake users are posting now about how inconvenient they are to use and maintain. There is a lot to be said for a simple mechanism (rim brakes) that is easily inspected and adjusted and repaired. Like I really want to buy a bleed kit etc. About as much as I want to replace a battery in my shifter. Not.
I'm just hearing 'stock' answers. I've never had a problem with new pads or old. I'd like to hear more specifics. In his first post, the OP didn't even mention what kind of brakes he had. We still don't know what brand or kind. To quote the OP and throw it right back at him, "WTF?"
