FWIW, Performance Bike requires you to pay in full before special ordering in, if you want something they don't have on the floor. I believe REI does the same. Both will refund you if you don't want it, but they want to stop people ordering in a bunch of bikes they then have to sell. Being in remote Canada and buying a somewhat oddball bike, I would really expect the same (albeit without the option to return for a full refund if you simply decide you don't want it)

That's not the smartphone's shortcoming, that is the site offering up a mobile site without it regardless of your wishes. Maybe realize that not everyone utilizes the internet the same as you?
