Just a follow up, I picked this up tonight. Older Dahon Getaway, single speed with coaster brake. Everything that should be is free and loose, the hinges feel smooth with no slop, although it does need a good going over. $50 was by far the best I've come across in two months of looking, and it seemed well suited for its intended purpose of living in the back of my car so I can ride around Detroit.
