why do you need new wheels? The wheels are not bad (well, still cup/cpne, but not bad) and to get significant improvement you spend quite a sum compared to the bicycle value. And what do you think the smaller 27.5" would accomplish on a bike designed for 29? Larger wheel better rolling and this is not an MTB where tight cornering or so would benefit you. Do you just want wider tires for some impact absorption?
Obviously it is your money and your bike, but buying new wheels for a brand new bike sounds like burning money.
