Do you just want wider tires for some impact absorption?

Obviously it is your money and your bike, but buying new wheels for a brand new bike sounds like burning money.
Interestingly enough, the plus sized 650B tires have a virtually identical outer diameter to 29er tires, particularly 27.5x3.0 (the Trailblazer is just slightly smaller), allowing them to be put into existing 29er frames and not change the geometry.

The same philosophy is evident with the WTB Horizon road plus, a 650x47 tire that has a basically identical outer diameter, almost to the millimeter, to a 700x28 tire (as well as a 26x2.3 tire).

The plus sized tires add traction, as well as allowing for lower air pressures, providing a certain amount of shock absorption in addition to added grip.
