Arrived today well packed. She's a beaut, Clark!



Took it for a quick spin around the block. Too early to pass judgement on ride quality, but the fit is spot on. Much more comfortable in the drops where before I felt bunched up on the Wilier.

Didn't put the front brake on as you can see. Gonna switch out the 105 group with the Centaur group from the Wilier. Sell the 105 parts and Mavic Cosmos wheels. I kinda don't want to switch, because I got a steal of a deal. But long term, I'm going to be more satisfied with the Centaur group. I forgot what that front derailleur chain rub was like with Shimano 9-speed groups until I started shifting around the front chainrings tonight.

Gonna slap a compact Centaur crank on there, and keep the 53/39 crankset for race days. Might not even need it for that (my weakness, not the peloton's).

When I put more miles into her, I'll report back with my findings. I can't wait. It's good to be back among the ranks of the celeste believers.
