50 and foggy this morning on the way to work. High 60's on the way home.

The most unusual thing was the otter that ran out into the road ahead of me this morning. They're fairly common aroud here, I just very rarely see them in the highway. I saw him from a good 200 yds. He ran up onto the pavement (no cars at all), stopped, lay down a rolled around. I know he could see me coming. I figured it was just an otter thing. As I got closer I started thinking, "he aught'ter get out of the road,"

As I approached to within about 30 yds. he jumped up and took off into the swamp.

Yesterday I brought home a cooler of fresh mullet that I caught at work. Today it was bluecrabs.
