I just wanted to chime back in and thank you for all the suggestions. The rack is on the bike. My wife bought me a front and rear combo set of lights (quick release) for Christmas and I'm going to be going with the Nashbar grocery bags for now. I'm really getting excited about making my bike more versatile.
