Araya Brass Spoke Nipples

Just recently completed two wheels using these Araya 3.5mm drive nipples I'd acquired previously (see above). They worked GREAT! I bought the Park SW-20 Series (SW-22 RED) nipple wrench and would highly recommend it for any serious wheel building or truing. Or any four cornered wrench should be fine. With my three sided wrenches I'd inevitably slip on one or two if I was working on a whole wheel, not destroying them but still adding a wee bit of rounding on the corners. With a four corner style wrench it simply isn't possible unless you are way over torquing them.

Just food for thought folks - Happy Wheeling

BTW, I ordered another 360 pieces (over 500 in my stock now) of the Araya 12mm plated-brass nipples as I will be using them on all my Japanese bike restoration wheel builds in the future.
